They call it commercial TV for a good reason: it’s full of commercials. For this reason, as well as the fact that the internet gets me stuff when I actually want it, I stopped watching a long time ago.
Every now and then, however, I find myself slack-jawed in front of a movie I’ve seen a dozen times before, molesting a bag of chips and wondering why the hell I’m slack-jawed in front of a movie I’ve seen a dozen times before, WITH ADS.
Every time it happens, I find myself just totally fucking appalled at how ads work now – women are all skinny 18 year olds, men are all either body builders or fat morons, teenagers are all mouth-breathing fuckwits who simply cannot survive without a daily intake of at least 12000 calories in the form of saturated fats conveniently packed in cardboard and for just 50c upgrade to a Large!

Now I freely admit that I’ve watched a lot of porn, so it’s possible I’m seeing things that aren’t really there. Objectively, however, what I’m seeing is a lot of pretty young things of both sexes, mouths open and eyes closed, being doused with litres of milky liquid. They’re licking their fingers, they’re licking each other, they’re ecstatic….
