I’ve taken some time out from gaming to write 1/4 of a page or so about the dog that owns me.
Life started out small for my Dog - eating small puppy food, smelling small puppy bums and thinking small puppy thoughts. Then came the day that changes a small puppy's life forever - the day they get their human.
Although people think of puppies as being small and cute, they are not trained at all so it’s not all cuddles and pats. After spending six months with his human however, he no longer leaves organic landmines in the lounge room, nor does he leave lemon puddles in the hallway or half chewed shoes and socks out in the backyard. Mum has lots to say about the fleas and fur that still cover the couch though, I don’t know why it’s such a big deal for her, but mums can get upset about all kinds of odd things I guess.
Now that he is one and 1/4 years old (or 6 years old in dog years) the only time I get angry with him is when he eats all the macadamia nut cookies off the table and then mum yells at me because she doesn’t believe I speak truth when I say “the dog ate it”
He's a very intelligent dog, he can balance while walking along a 6 foot log and he brings really cool stuff to show and smell. I love my dog very much and I’m glad he got me as his person.
Here are 9 reasons I want to be a dog:
1. If I get fat, it's someone else's fault
2. I would never have to do homework or clean up my room
3. I would always happy to see the same old boring people
4. People would think I’m healthy if I had a wet nose
5. No-one would notice if I had hair growing in strange places
6. No matter where I itch, no one would be offended if I scratch it in public
7. Every garbage bag would be a buffet
8. I could spend hours just smelling stuff
9. I would never have to pay for lunch or dinner!
